Elite 24 3-Point and Dunk Contests

Tonight Under Armour held the Elite 24 3-Point and Dunk Contests.  In the 3-point contest rising sophomore Mitchell Ballock battled Brandon Ingram for the win.  Ingram beat Ballock by 1 shot, 13-12.  If Ballock hit the last shot he took he would have been able to beat Ingram.  Mitchell Ballock has beautiful stroke with his left hand and keeps his elbow up.  He has offers from Creighton, Iowa State, and Kansas.  Brandon Ingram looked is ranked 12th in the ESPN 100 and has offers from UConn, Duke, UNC, Florida, Kansas, Kentucky, and more.  He is a 6-8 forward who can do everything for a team.  In the dunk contest Derrick Jones defeated Josh Jackson in the final round.  Jones did a through the legs 360 dunk and got a perfect score from the judges.  Jones also jumped over big men Stephen Zimmerman and Harry Giles in the Semi-Final.  Jones is a 6'6" small forward who is ranked 27th in the ESPN 100.  He has offers from Arizona, Kansas, Kentucky, and Syracuse.  The most impressive dunk of the night was from crowd favorite Kwe Parker.  He caught an alley-oop off the side of the backboard then continued to do a 360 dunk.  Parker failed to dunk the ball in the Semi-Final preventing him from reaching the finals.  Watch our mixtape of the dunk contest below!
