#1 Kentucky Moves on Past #6 Texas and Remains Undefeated

Willie Cauley-Stein
Dominated Tonight's Game
Willie Cauley-Stein... he did it all tonight for the top ranked Wildcats.  He had his biggest game all season thus far, against perhaps the best talent he has played so far.  Cauley-Stein finished with 21 points, 12 rebounds, 5 steals, and 3 blocks.

The Kentucky big man led them to 63-51 over the sixth ranked Texas Longhorns.

The Wildcats still won despite only being able to hit 1 three pointer all night.  The Harrison twins finished a combined 3-17 tonight also.

Texas gave Kentucky a great game despite their
loss.  Jonathan Holmes led the Longhorns' front court attack with 12 points and 5 rebounds.

Although Texas did lose, this game is still a great sign for them.  They played without their star point guard Isaiah Taylor, and still gave Kentucky a run for their money.  As this Texas team grows and gets Taylor back, they will be one of the top teams in college basketball.  As if they aren't already while being ranked 6th in the country.

With their win Kentucky improves to 8-0 and continues their pursuit of the perfect season.  Texas now falls to 7-1, but this is a great loss to have.
