Rajon Rondo Had the Coolest Double-Double of the Year Last Night

Last night Rajon Rondo had the coolest double-double stat line of the NBA season.  The Celtics' star point guard had 19 assists and 12 rebounds.  The weird part is Rondo only scored 2 points... yes 2.

Although Rondo put forth a great effort the Celtics still lost to Atlanta 109-105.  Jeff Green added in 25 points and led the team in scoring.

The Hawks were led by Kyle Korver who scored 24 points. 

Going into halftime the Celtics held a 66-50 lead, but yet they managed to lose the game in the second half once again.  They have struggled many times this year executing late in games which is proving to cost them. 

With this loss the Celtics fall to 4-11.  But the Celtics do have the 4th easiest remaining schedule in the Eastern Conference.  Rajon Rondo hopes to take advantage of their easy remaining schedule and continue to record double-doubles, but maybe start winning the games he does so in.
