Coach K Becomes Coach 1K

He finally got the weight off his shoulders.  He also did it under the bright lights of New York.  Duke's Coach K recorded his 1000th win yesterday against St. John's in the Madison Square Garden.  You really couldn't write that storyline any better.

#5 Duke ended up defeating St. John's 77-68.  Jahlil Okafor dominated once again with 17 points and 10 rebounds.  Tyus Jones also had a great game and helped Duke go on a 15-1 run to close out the game.  He had 11 points down the stretch to help pull off the late game comeback.

This win really solidifies Coach K as the best coach ever on the college level.  No one matches his level of class and level of excellence both on and off the court.  Congrats to Coach K and all of his staff over at Duke.
