Kobe Bryant Records a Historic Tripple-Double

Last night Kobe Bryant recorded his 20th career triple-double against the Toronto Raptors.  The Lakers' star collected 31 points, 12 assists, and 11 rebounds.

Kobe became the first player to ever record 6,000 assists and 30,000 points in their career.  Although he is constantly scrutinized by critics because he doesn't pass the ball enough, this says the exact opposite.  After the game Kobe himself said, "It means I pass more than people say" (Via NBA Legion).  Bryant actually ranks second in assists among the top 12 scorers in NBA history.  Michael Jordan is first with 5.3 APG, and Bryant follows with 4.8 APG.

The Lakers ended up beating the Raptors 129-122 in overtime.  Seven players scored in double digits for the Lakers to help assist Kobe Bryant to a win on a career night.
